Enrique Salomao our local Zumba Fitness Instructor on the Fraser Coast came to Design House after I handed him my business card at class one day.

Immediately impressed with the use of an image and the full colour plus matt celloglaze finish he was sold on the idea of something similar.

We then worked together to create a new professional business card design to promote his fun Zumba Fitness business plus his self promotion at the World’s largest Zumba Fitness Convention soon in the USA.

Bundy Thunder – Billboard Creative

Tayco Outdoor Advertising utilised the services of Design House to create a striking billboard creative for their client Bundy Thunder.
Bundy Thunder was so impressed with the creative they purchased copyright ownership of the artwork so that they could then use the new modern look to promote their event in different advertising and print mediums.

The Wide Bay Australia Bundy Thunder is Queensland’s biggest power boat race meeting. It incorporates 2 days of Australia’s best racing, lunchtime water displays, and ancillary events of the Wide Bay Australia Ambassador Quest, Gala Pre-Race Party, and Official Welcome to the City, Display of Boats and Drivers Meet ‘n Greet with a static display of competing boats at the club, during which fans can mingle with drivers and team members, check out the boats, engineering and paint jobs … click here to learn more.

Drink Spiking, it can happen!

Wide Bay Sexual Assault Support Services are getting the message out there this weekend with the use of their display stand created by Design House – “Drink Spike Alert ahead of Pub Crawl!”

IT CAN happen in an instant but lead to a lifetime of pain.

Drink-spiking is common and women attending the World’s Greatest Pub Fest on Sunday are urged to beware and take care so the crawl remains a safe and happy experience.

Counsellors from the Wide Bay Sexual Assault Support Service visited every participating crawl pub this week to distribute coasters, brochures and wrist bands warning of the dangers and advising people how to stay safe. … click here to learn more (image & info from The Fraser Coast Chronicle).

The office, which formerly housed Ray White Rural and gympierealestate.com.au is located on the Bruce Highway right next to Pizza Hut and is now complete with a new corporate image plus modern and relevant rebranding of the old identity thanks to the assistance of Design House. JAM Outdoor (Rebrand)

Landoway Outdoor in Bundaberg approached Design House seeking a major rebrand as they have renamed their existing company to JAM Outdoor.
Being one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in Queensland with over 350 + billboards we developed a website so that potential clients could not only view JAM’s professionalism but the location of their sites statewide.

We started with a logo design and carried that through into business cards, letterheads, with comp slips & finally the website development.

Our company has just undergone a major rebranding from Landoway Pty Ltd to JAM Outdoor. As a large regional Queensland billboard company, we felt our growth and professionalism required a memorable and contemporary name to match our ethos. This has not been a simple process, as all our communications required a name change along with our new logo and colours. We have also used the opportunity to launch a new website, JAM Outdoor.com.au. Design House have managed the process, navigating across all areas involved, ensuring that we keep on track by following the process through to completion. It is not an easy journey to change your name when you are presenting your company across different mediums each having their own issues in presentation. What stands out on a website compared to the tag on a billboard is very different. Jeanette has been very flexible and responsive to our specific requirements producing what we believe is a simple and effective logo which is now integrated across all our communication channels. Tanz with Attitude “Spray it like you mean it!”

Donation – The Oddiyana Dharma Sanctuary

Recently I completed a Buddha Bootcamp (Calm Abiding Meditation Course) with Choeying Dolma a Buddhist nun who resides in Hervey Bay. I found the whole experience so profoundly uplifting and learnt so many new tools to handle the pain and suffering we experience in our lives that I felt compelled to donate my time and services of Design House to market Choeying. (valued at $3,000 + including logo, business card & website design etc …. I have never seen such a happy and excited nun as what Choeying was at her website lesson!!)
Hhmmm could be some good karma coming my way…

I feel everybody in the community should have the opportunity to experience the benefits of meditation and don’t be confused it is not a relaxing experience by any means. By the end of my full weekend retreat I was physically and mentally spent! You really have to go along yourself to experience it as it is so deep.

Choeying teachings also opens our eyes to show compassion to others, we realise that everyone is deluded and suffering in their own way so we mustn’t take the hurt they cause us personally, ‘it is their karma and afflictions not them’…. please click here to find out more on the Sanctuary and visit the website.
